And today, from the tallest building in the world, I finish my posts saga «Dubai Guide».
With 828 meters the Burj Khalifa stands, to date, as the tallest building in the world, so we couldn’t miss it!! Here
are several recommendations that I want to give you: first of all you
have to know that you have two viewpoints, one on the 124/125 floor, and
the other one on the 148th floor. We were going to climb to the
highest, but the guide who accompanied us on our excursion to Abu Dhabi advised us not to do so. In
Dubai it’s rare the day there is no Calima (or what is the same, a lot
of dust mixed with the air), this makes when you walk away a lot of a
point, doesn’t look good. That is, unless the day is very clear, it’s likely that the views from the top floor are not optimal. To be honest, from 124 I think the city looks good enough, and the entrance to the higher floor goes up quite a bit.
Speaking of the tickets, I recommend you take them out in advance,
apart from saving you the wait, you won’t have any problems, if there
are many people, the tickets for the time you want to upload may be
exhausted.
We
got up at 4:30 in the afternoon, so we saw it by day, we waited for the
sunset, about 6:30 in the afternoon, and when we left by 7 we
could see the whole city lit up with the night view.
On the 124 floor there is a restaurant, there are people who choose to
book to take some food there and enjoy the views, but you must know
that there is a minimum amount that varies according to the time of day
in question.
Something very important. The
entrance to the gazebo is inside the Dubai Mall, that is to say, if you
take a Uber, for example, you must indicate to take you to the Dubai
Mall. We didn’t know and we put it to the Burj Khalifa, and he took us
to the hotel’s Armani door, which is located in the skyscraper, but the entrance for tourists is done through the mall. Fortunately our driver understood the mistake and took us to the entrance of the Dubai Mall.
When you get off the lookout you can’t miss seeing the fountain show in Dubai. It’s just below the Burj Khalifa, and is also accessed through the shopping center. It gave me goosebumps! The music, the lights, the water… It’s beautiful! I
rode on one of the Adras at the fountain, which allows you for about 17
euros to see the show from the water, and I was lucky that the song
would sound like «I will always love you», it was a magical moment.
The passes of the fountain are daily, every half hour from 19:00 and until 23:00 and last 5 minutes.
And
now yes, this adventure has come to an end, but before, last advice:
take a lot of battery in the camera and especially the eyes wide open to
record every moment in your memory, enjoy it very much, is a city that
seems to story! I was happy to share this little guide of the trip with you, it has
been like returning for a few moments there, and you know that if you
have any other doubts you can write me and I will gladly help you!
For our last night I wore an Oysho fuchsia lingerie dress and the
watermelon necklace from Un Poquito de Mí capsule collection.
I hope you liked it, lots of kisses !!!
