CHASING MY TIMELESS

Hay algunas modas que se han vuelto imprescindibles para mí este verano, en vestidos los que llevan botones (y también los wrap dress, es decir, los cruzados tipo bata), los pañuelos en el pelo y las alpargatas.

Todas estas tendencias que os acabo de enumerar además de prácticas y super cómodas me parecen enormemente favorecedoras y femeninas, por ese motivo creo que me gustan tanto y me siento tan identificada con ellas.

Y en este post como véis he hecho un mix con todas ellas! He querido que fuera en tonos blancos y negros, para darle más protagonisto a las alpargatas, particularmente a su bordado en rojo.  Son muy cómodas pero el hecho de que lleven las tiras es un plus, porque aporta una mayor sujeción al pie, cosa que cuando vas en cuña se agradece!

Os llamará la atención también mi nuevo amigo, al que sin duda os hartaréis de ver, el Timeless de Chanel. Es un modelo de bolso que llevo anhelando mucho tiempo, tanto por su diseño como por su significado dentro del mundo de la moda. Después de un largo tiempo dudando con el tipo de piel, el color de la cadena y más aún ahorrando, por fin está conmigo. He elegido el modelo más clásico (pero reinventado), el de piel de cordero con la cadena dorada. Este modelo es una reinterpretación llevada a cabo por Karl Lagerfeld del famoso 2.55 diseñado por Coco Chanel (en febrero de 1955, de ahí su nombre, este diseño presenta una apariencia muy similar al actual Timeless, pero su cierre no incluye la doble C tan característica de la firma hoy en día). Supuso una liberación para las mujeres, pues incorporaba una cadena, que les permitía colgarse el bolso y dejar sus manos libres. Por dentro esta forrado en piel de color borgoña (ambos modelos), porque este era el color del uniforme que llevaba Coco en el orfanato, también dispone de algunos compartimentos secretos y un departamento específico para guardar un labial. Su fabricación es 100% artesanal, se realiza en un pequeño pueblo a las afueras de París y para realizar cada bolso son necesarias 18 horas de trabajo.

Podría tirarme aquí tres horas más escribiendo sobre el bolso, pero con esto creo que os hacéis una pequeña idea de su historia y por qué es importante para mí. Ahora sólo me queda crear muchos looks con él!!
