IBIZA: CALA COMTE

Aunque aún me quedan algunas fotos y recomendaciones de Formentera, me váis a permitir que comience a alternar con algunos posts de Ibiza, porque algunas me habéis escrito pidiendo recomendaciones de esta isla y como realmente mucha gente cuando va visita las dos, pues es un viaje muy relacionado.

En el post de hoy voy a hablaros sobre una de sus calas más concurridas, Cala Comte.

Para ilustraros os diré que la primera vez que fuimos a visitarla, segunda quincena de julio, había tantísima gente que nos tuvimos que marchar.

De por sí las calas en Ibiza están muy concurridas, y cuanto más nos metemos en la temporada alta más aún. A la fecha de nuestro viaje (principios de junio de 2018) ya había una buena cantidad de gente, tanto que encontrar un hueco para nuestras toallas no fue del todo sencillo.

Son unas calas de arena pero rodeadas por rocas, no son muy grandes, así que cuando no hay más remedio (o por gusto) la gente se coloca también sobre las rocas.

Os diría que es una cala para ir un ratito, el calor es bastante asfixiante, no hay sombras y por este motivo suele haber muchísima gente bañándose.

Hay algunos chiringuitos en las inmediaciones, la primera vez que fuimos comimos en el que está según llegas a la cala y la verdad que nos gustó bastante, este año hemos repetido y creo que os recomendaría ir simplemente a tomar algo, las vistas son preciosas, pero creo que la comida ya no es lo que era y, como todo en Ibiza, es bastante caro, así que casi mejor que os vayáis después de comer y aprovechéis un rato en la playa y luego podéis ver caer el sol mientras os tomáis algo tranquilamente!

No me gustan los bañadores para tomar el sol (porque odio las marcas) pero me gustan muchísimo y me parecen super elegantes, así que aprovecho cuando vamos a tomar algo o las últimas horas del día cuando el sol ya está bajo para ponérmelos.

I still have some photos and recommendations from Formentera, you are
going to allow me to start alternating with some posts from Ibiza,
because some of you have written me asking for recommendations from this
island and how many people really go to visit them both, it is a trip very related.

In today’s post I will talk about one of its busiest coves, Cala Comte. To
illustrate, I will tell you that the first time we went to visit her,
the second half of July, there were so many people that we had to leave.

In and of itself the coves in Ibiza are very crowded, and the more we get in the high season even more. At
the time of our trip (beginning of June 2018) there were already a lot
of people, so much so that finding a space for our towels wasn’t easy
at all.

They
are sandy coves but surrounded by rocks, they aren’t very big, so when
there is no other choice (or for pleasure) people also place themselves
on the rocks. I
would say that it is a cove to go a little while, the heat is quite
suffocating, there are no shadows and for this reason there are usually
many people bathing.

There
are some chiringuitos in the vicinity, the first time we went we ate in
the one that is as you arrive at the cove and the truth that we liked a
lot, this year we have repeated and I think I would recommend you just
go for a drink, the views are beautiful, but
I think the food is not what it used to be and, like everything in
Ibiza, it’s quite expensive, so it’s almost better that you leave after
eating and take some time on the beach and then you can watch the sun go
down while you drink something quietly!

I
don’t like swimwear for sunbathing (because I hate the marks) but I
like them very much and they seem super elegant, so I take advantage
when we go to have a drink or the last hours of the day when the sun is
already low to put them on.
