Me encanta.
Muchos besos!!
Last weekend I was in Paris in record time and I want to share it with you!!!
I
say it was an express visit because the real reason for the trip, as I
will tell you in detail in the following posts, was to go to Disneyland
Paris, but the day we arrived (Friday) we had almost the whole day
ahead, so we decided to do a tour express through the city!!
Factors
to keep in mind that I want to clarify, Paris is always a good idea,
even for a few hours, but I think that this type of «visits» is best
done when you already know the city. In
my case I have been several times (in fact I really wanted to go to
reconcile with it, because the last time, unfortunately, coincided with
the attacks of the Bataclán room in 2015). The
reason is that really in just a few hours you only have time to visit a
small part of the monuments of the city and far above, that hey, it’s
better that nothing, but I think it’s better when you already know and
can choose In which of your favorite sites do you want to spend those few hours.
In
our case we got a good feeling, we were in Notre Dame, Place de la
Concorde, Rue Cambon, Champs Elysees, Alexandre III bridge, Eiffel Tower
and Trocadero. I lose Montmartre, but we were already too tired.
Another thing I want to talk about is when to visit Paris. This occasion has coincided with the July 14th, French national holiday. I
will say that I don’t recommend it for a first contact, because it’s
crowded, hotels are expensive (more than usual) and also the great part
of the monuments of the city (especially the Eiffel Tower and the
surrounding area) they are fenced in to prepare the grand parade and fireworks. The
night of July 14th I was already at Disneyland, I’ll tell you everything
soon, and there they also did an extra show with fireworks. From
what I have seen what they do in the Eiffel Tower is spectacular, but I
think it’s to go only to see that, with a lot of patience, a lot of
calm and without too many tourist pretensions.
I
don’t know what I can tell you about Paris, rather I would not know
where to start, it’s one of my favorite cities, it’s light, magic,
history, love,… I really like it.
For
our express visit I chose this Chicwish midi dress combined with my
favorite summer paddles and my Chanel bag, I didn’t want to leave it at
home on this visit to the French capital because I did something else I
had always wanted to do: go to the first store that opened Coco Chanel, at number 31 on Rue Cambon, and it was a real pleasure!
I’m looking forward to telling you all about Disney, the truth is that it’s been a magical weekend! Follow me on Instagram @CCPetiteRobe to not miss some unpublished photos!
Lots of kisses!!
