En una de nuestras últimas paradas nos acercamos a conocer la laguna rosa de Torrevieja. Si buscáis por internet seguro que encontraréis fotografías idílicas, con un tono rosa que envidiarían hasta los propios caramelos de fresa, y para ser honestos la cosa no es del todo así.
Las aguas de la laguna tienen un cierto tono rosáceo (o marronáceo) que se aprecia más o menos bien cuando estás muy cerca de la laguna. Es decir, cuando estéis llegando, las veréis de lejos y os parecerá agua normal.
Hay que decir que nosotros fuimos a una hora en la que el sol estaba muy alto, el cielo se reflejaba muy directamente y eso hacía también más complicado ver el color rosa. Para una panorámica perfecta se recomienda ir durante la puesta de sol.
Todo lo que está a mis pies es sal, un gran lago de sal. Las bacterias que rodean a esta son las que provocan el cambio de color en las aguas!
Es una reserva natural, y como tal en principio el baño no está permitido (a mí personalmente tampoco me entraban muchas ganas jaja), pero seguro que veréis a gente bañándose.

In one of our last stops we went to know the pink lagoon of Torrevieja. If you search online you will surely find idyllic photographs, with a pink tone that would envy even the own strawberry candies, and to be honest the thing isn’t quite so.
The waters of the lagoon have a certain pinkish (or brownish) tone that is more or less well appreciated when you are very close to the lagoon. That is to say, when you are arriving, you will see them from afar and it will seem like normal water.
It must be said that we went to an hour when the sun was very high, the sky reflected very directly and that made it more complicated to see the color pink. For a perfect panoramic it is recommended to go during the sunset.
All that is at my feet is salt, a great salt lake. The bacteria that surround this are what cause the color change in the waters!
It’s a natural reserve, and as such in principle the bathroom isn’t allowed (I personally didn’t get much desire haha), but surely you will see people bathing.
