Un año más, no podía faltar en nuestra visita anual a Baleares, concretamente a Ibiza y Formentera.
Podéis ver a través del buscardor mis recomendaciones de otros años, así que como ya os he contado cómo llegar a Formentera, donde me gusta alojarme y cómo el mejor moverse por la isla, en esta ocasión me centraré en otras novedades.
Empiezo por algo que se que os llamará la atención, la foto de portada. Tengo que deciros que la forma de llegar al famoso mirador de Es Vedrá ha cambiado, antes con poner en google maps «torre des Savinar» avanzar con el coche lo que pudieras y caminar hasta darte de bruces con el acantilado del mirador lo tenías hecho. Ahora, a consecuencia del tremendo aumento de visitantes que ha experimentado la zona en los últimos años, es necesario dejar el coche en un parking que está unos trescientos metros más arriba de lo que indica la salida del Maps. Se encuentra señalizado, a partir de ahí podéis volver a poner en el maps «torre des Savinar», después de caminar unos 15 minutos llegaréis a destino.
Tengo que decir que sigue siendo uno de mis lugares favoritos de Ibiza, pero que no creo que vuelva a ver una puesta de sol allí, salvo que sea temporada baja. Como os decía en los últimos años la afluencia de personas es cada vez mayor. Para mí, parte de la magia del lugar reside en disfrutarlo de manera más privada, y salvaje, tal y como lo descubrimos hace ya unos cinco años, pero eso intentamos evitar la hora de la puesta de sol, no estaréis solos, pero sí mucho más tranquilos.
Como cada año, para llegar a este tipo de sitios, calas, pueblos, etc. Siempre os recomiendo disponer de un medio de transporte propio. Nosotros siempre elegimos un coche, por comodidad y seguridad, pero lo cierto es que nunca habíamos tenido uno como el de este año. Permitidme que os hable de Sweet Drive. Es un coche de alquiler de la empresa We Love Ibiza Art Car. Ellos han creado un modelo de negocio que aúna por un lado el arte, todos los coches están pintados por artistas de al rededor de todo el mundo, por lo que no hay dos iguales, con la sostenibilidad. Su lema es reparar y reutilizar, no tirar, por ello acondicionan coches antiguos y los decoran. Me parece una iniciativa preciosa con la que pretenden devolver en parte a Ibiza a su más pura esencia.

I’m starting with something that I know will catch your attention, the cover photo. I have to tell you that the way to get to the famous viewpoint of Es Vedrá has changed, before with searching in google maps «Torre des Savinar» advance with the car what you could and walk until you face the cliff of the viewpoint you had done it. Now, as a result of the tremendous increase in visitors that the area has experienced in recent years, it’s necessary to leave the car in a parking lot that is about three hundred meters higher than what the exit of the Maps indicates. It’s signposted, from there you can return to the maps «Torre des Savinar», after walking about 15 minutes you will arrive at your destination.
I have to say that it’s still one of my favorite places in Ibiza, but I don’t think I will see a sunset there again, unless it’s low season. As I was saying in recent years, the influx of people is increasing. For me, part of the magic of the place lies in enjoying it in a more private and wild way, as we discovered about five years ago, but that we try to avoid the time of sunset, you will not be alone, but a lot calmer.
As every year, to reach this type of places, coves, towns, etc. I always recommend having your own transport. We always choose a car, for comfort and safety, but the truth is that we have never had one like this year. Let me tell you about Sweet Drive. It’s a rental car from the company We Love Ibiza Art Car. They have created a business model that combines art on the one hand, all cars are painted by artists from around the world, so there are not two equal, with sustainability. Their motto is to repair and reuse, not to throw away, that is why they condition old cars and decorate them. It seems to me a precious initiative with which they intend to partially return Ibiza to its purest essence.
Por lo que se refiere a calas y playas, este año hemos optado por hacer un turismo muy responsable, por lo que hemos preferido evitar las aglomeraciones al máximo, optando por ir a la playa sólo en momentos en los que no hubiera tanto volumen de gente.
Nuestras elecciones fueron Cala Tarida, donde además pasamos una velada maravillosa en Cotton Beach Club, disfrutamos de una comida con vistas increíbles del mar en la terraza panorámica de su restaurante. Tanto la comida como la bebida estaba realmente deliciosa, sin duda es un lugar al que volveré.
Regarding coves and beaches, this year we have chosen to do a very responsible tourism, so we have preferred to avoid crowds as much as possible, opting to go to the beach only at times when there was not so much volume of people.
Our choices were Cala Tarida, where we also spent a wonderful evening at Cotton Beach Club, we enjoyed a meal with incredible views of the sea on the panoramic terrace of their restaurant. Both the food and the drink was really delicious, it is definitely a place I will return to.
Otra de las playas que elegimos fue la de Cavallería, su arena es fina y nos gusta ir a última hora de la tarde, para disfrutar de la tranquilidad y el ambiente menos caluroso.
Esta vez también cenamos en la zona del puerto de Ibiza y nos encantó, tanto las vistas como el ambiente, todo muy chill.
Finalmente reservamos una de nuestras tardes para pasear por Dalt Vila, hacía años que no lo hacíamos de día, y me encantó descubrir sus rincones llenos de vida y color.

Another of the beaches we chose was Cavallería, its sand is fine and we like to go in the late afternoon, to enjoy the tranquility and the less hot environment.
This time we also had dinner in the port area of Ibiza and we loved it, both the views and the atmosphere, all very chill.
Finally we reserved one of our afternoons to walk around Dalt Vila, we hadn’t done it during the day for years, and I loved discovering its corners full of life and color.
