Yo, que soy una amante sin límites de las islas Baleares, tenía super pendiente explorar Mallorca, una gran desconocida para mí! Sin duda, por sus magnitudes, es la isla que más días requiere, no obstante en este viaje de cinco días he podido tener una idea global de ella y como no, quiero compartirla con vosotras!
Elegimos este destino vacacional para nuestro viaje anual de equipo, con mis amigas, mis hermanas de elección ya que, casualidades de la vida, todas somos hijas únicas.
Como siempre voy a empezar con los puntos básicos: alojamiento y desplazamiento, para seguir con nuestros lugares favoritos y recorridos de cada día.
Establecimos nuestro campamento muy cerca de la capital, concretamente en Playa de Palma, en el hotel Riu Bravo. Se trata de un complejo de cuatro estrellas, muy grande y moderno, que cuenta con varias piscinas y media pensión.
Aquí hago una breve «parada» para hacer dos menciones especiales que quiero resaltar de este hotel: su oferta gastronómica y su personal. Por lo que a lo primero se refiere, puedo deciros que el Riu Bravo cuenta con uno de los buffets más enormes y completos que he visto nunca. También me sorprendió para muy bien la calidad de sus productos. A la hora de la cena, hay la opción de buffet o acudir a uno de sus dos restaurantes, uno de tipo grill y otro con comida española (Olé), todos ellos exquisitos, desayunamos y cenamos realmente bien! Mi segunda mención tiene que ir necesariamente para el personal de este hotel, no os podéis imaginar la calidad humana y profesional que alberga este alojamiento, es de las ocasiones que más «en casa» y a gusto me han hecho sentir, una mezcla de profesionalidad, cercanía, atención y libertad a partes iguales, todo en su justa medida, la verdad que fue una maravilla de estancia.
En cuanto a la ubicación del hotel, es un punto base estupendo para moverte por la isla y regresar por la noche a una zona muy animada!
Para moveros, como no podía ser de otro modo en Baleares, os recomiendo recurrir a un coche de alquiler. Para mi gusto esa es la opción más cómoda y que más libertad te da, siempre podrás llegar a todas las calas y pueblos que quieras sin depender de horarios, días de la semana, aforos… Nuestro coche de alquiler era de la empresa MOOV rent a car, una empresa joven, con vehículos muy nuevos, espaciosos y cómodos. Cuentan con muy buenos precios y un servicio de entrega y recogida en el aeropuerto muy cómodo y eficiente, en cuanto llegamos teníamos nuestro coche esperándonos y lo mismo para nuestra partida. El coche tenía seguro a todo riesgo (algo que siempre os recomiendo en las islas) y todo el equipo fue muy amable y nos prestó asistencia en todo lo que necesitamos.
Una vez esto, vamos con nuestros itinerarios de cada día y mis recomendaciones!
Llegamos muy temprano y día 5 de agosto, dejamos nuestras maletas en la consigna del hotel y pusimos rumbo a nuestro primer destino: Sóller, en la sierra de Tramuntana, la verdad que todos los pueblecitos de los que os hablaré tienen una estética similar, pero son muy bonitos y cada uno tiene un encanto especial. Estuvimos tanto en el puerto de Sóller como en Sóller, en este último no dejéis de visitar la plaza de la parroquia, si esperáis un poco tendréis la vista con el tranvía cruzando que es realmente bonita!
De allí nos fuimos a Fornalutx, uno de mis pueblos favoritos! Sólo tenéis que perderos por sus calles empedradas y llenas de flores para comprobarlo. La última parada del día la hicimos en Deiá, aquí me encantó la vista desde el exterior del pueblo, parecía una postal!
Después del madrugón, vuelo y todo este recorrido (que además implica un desplazamiento de unas tres horas en coche), volvimos al hotel para reponer fuerzas.
Nuestro segundo día fue día de calas, hicimos un pequeño planning en función de nuestras preferencias y la cercanía de unas a otras, finalmente las elegidas fueron: S’amarador, Calo des Moro, S’Almunia, Es Trenc y Cala Pi. Creo que mi favorita fue la primera, y algo que me gustó de Mallorca fue que, pese a ser playas concurridas, como la isla es muy grande y hay muchas opciones, no tienes la sensación de «agobio» que puede llegar a crearse en calas de islas más pequeñas.
Nuestro tercer día tuvo una mañana dedicada a conocer Palma, el museo de Miró, castillo, la catedral y sus callejuelas, sin duda mi parte favorita fue el interior de la catedral, su visita en mi opinión merece mucho la pena! La tarde la pasamos de relax en la piscina del hotel entre risas y juegos de cartas.
Cuarto día, vuelta a la zona de pueblos de la sierra de Tramuntana para descubrir Valldemossa, Pollença y Puerto de Pollença. La tarde nuevamente para descansar y tomar un poco el sol!
Nuestro último día (el vuelo salía tarde por la noche) lo dedicamos a visitar el faro de Formentor. Para llegar aquí debéis hacerlo en autobús, es la forma menos compleja,más rápida y barata (la carretera es muy muy estrecha y sinuosa). Esta «excursión» ya nos tomó toda la mañana, después de comer fuimos a visitar el último pueblo de nuestro viaje, Portocolom, dimos un pequeño paseo por su puerto y de ahí directas al aeropuerto donde nos esperaban para devolver el coche!
Fue un viaje muy completo, sin duda es una isla que ofrece mucho más que playa y fiesta, un buen destino para encontrar el equilibrio perfecto para todos los gustos!

Me, who am an unlimited lover of the Balearic Islands, had a great desire to explore Mallorca, a great unknown to me! Without a doubt, due to its magnitude, it’s the island that requires the most days, however in this five-day trip I have been able to have a global idea of it and of course, I want to share it with you!
We chose this vacation destination for our annual team trip, with my friends, my sisters of choice since, coincidences of life, we are all only daughters.
As always I’m going to start with the basics: accommodation and travel, to continue with our favorite places and daily routes.
We established our camp very close to the capital, specifically in Playa de Palma, at the Riu Bravo hotel. It’s a very large and modern four-star complex with several swimming pools and half board.
Here I make a brief «stop» to make two special mentions that I want to highlight about this hotel: its gastronomic offer and its staff. As far as the first is concerned, I can tell you that the Riu Bravo has one of the largest and most complete buffets I have ever seen. I was also very surprised by the quality of their products. At dinner time, there is the option of a buffet or going to one of its two restaurants, one grill type and the other with Spanish food (Olé), all of them exquisite, we had breakfast and dinner really well! My second mention must necessarily go to the staff of this hotel, you cannot imagine the human and professional quality that this accommodation houses, it’s one of the occasions that they have made me feel most «at home» and at ease, a mixture of professionalism, closeness, attention and freedom in equal parts, all in its proper measure, the truth is that it was a wonderful stay.
Regarding the location of the hotel, it’s a great base point to move around the island and return at night to a very lively area!
To get around, how could it be otherwise in the Balearic Islands, I recommend you use a rental car. For my pov, that is the most comfortable option and the one that gives you the most freedom, you can always get to all the coves and towns you want without depending on schedules, days of the week, capacity… Our rental car was from the MOOV company rent a car, a young company, with very new, spacious and comfortable vehicles. They have very good prices and a very comfortable and efficient delivery and collection service at the airport, as soon as we arrived we had our car waiting for us and the same for our departure. The car had comprehensive insurance (something I always recommend on the islands) and the entire team was very friendly and assisted us with everything we needed.
Once this, we go with our itineraries for each day and my recommendations!
We arrived very early on August 5, we left our bags in the hotel locker and headed for our first destination: Sóller, in the Tramuntana mountains, the truth is that all the little towns that I am going to talk about have a similar aesthetic, but they are very beautiful and each one has a special charm. We were both in the port of Sóller and in Sóller, in the latter don’t forget to visit the parish church square, if you wait a bit you will have the view with the tram crossing, which is really beautiful!
From there we went to Fornalutx, one of my favorite towns! You just have to lose yourself in its cobbled streets full of flowers to discover yourself. The last stop of the day was in Deiá, here I loved the view from the outside of the town, it looked like a postcard!
After getting up early, flying and all this journey (which also implies a journey of about three hours by car), we returned to the hotel to recharge our batteries.
Our second day was a day of coves, we made a little planning based on our preferences and the proximity of each other, finally the chosen ones were: S’amarador, Calo des Moro, S’Almunia, Es Trenc and Cala Pi. I think my favorite was the first, and something I liked about Mallorca was that, despite being crowded beaches, as the island is very large and there are many options, you don’t have the feeling of «overwhelm» that can be created in coves of smaller islands.
Our third day had a morning dedicated to getting to know Palma, the Miró museum, the castle, the cathedral and its alleys, without a doubt my favorite part was the interior of the cathedral, its visit in my opinion is very worthwhile! We spent the afternoon relaxing in the hotel pool with laughter and card games.
Fourth day, return to the area of towns in the Sierra de Tramuntana to discover Valldemossa, Pollença and Puerto de Pollença. The afternoon again to rest and sunbathe!
Our last day (the flight left late at night) was dedicated to visiting the Formentor lighthouse. To get here you must do it by bus, it’s the least complex, fastest and cheapest way (the road is very very narrow and winding). This «excursion» already took us all morning, after eating we went to visit the last town of our trip, Portocolom, we took a short walk through its port and from there we went straight to the airport where they were waiting for us to return the car!
It was a very complete trip, without a doubt it’s an island that offers much more than beach and party, a good destination to find the perfect balance for all tastes!
