Muchos besos! @CCPetiteRobe

I really wanted to spend a weekend on the Costa Brava, and now I am here to share all the details with you!

First of all we are going to start with the accommodation, we stayed at the Hotel Aromar, which is on the seafront in Platja d’Aro. The location was perfect, just an hour’s drive from Barcelona and very close to the main tourist attractions of the Costa Brava!

Aromar is a pet friendly hotel, so we were able to share the whole experience with our dog Abril, which I couldn’t have been more excited about! It’s also a «real» pet friendly hotel, as our puppies can also accompany us to the breakfast buffet (and lunch or dinner if you hire them) because they have a restaurant area reserved for customers staying with dogs.

I really liked the variety of its buffet breakfast, but I definitely have to stay with its views. Both while we had breakfast, and from our room (which was a panoramic type room) we were lucky to see the sea at all times, it was beautiful.

And I almost forgot, I took advantage of its pool to take my first swim of the season, and I loved it!

In this weekend we take the opportunity to visit, in addition to Platja d’Aro itself, other towns in the area that I will now tell you about:

-S’Agaró: One of my favorite places on the Costa Brava, I already knew it, but going back is always a good idea. Its promenade is beautiful, there are several cafes and restaurants, but I especially recommend you follow the path from the beach to the viewpoint, that’s my favorite place!

-Calella de Palafrugell: it was my first time and I can tell you that everything I had seen and read about this small town is true and falls short. With all the charm of a fishing village, you will not be able to resist walking all its streets and enjoying a tapa or a drink by the sea.

-Peratallada: in the interior area we discover this small town, completely cobbled and with a special charm. Let yourself be surprised and lose yourself in its streets, that is the best advice.

-Pals: another very picturesque medieval town and ideal for a walk. Personally, I liked Peratallada more because I felt it was «more authentic», but this is just my personal opinion!

Hope you enjoy the post!

Lots of kisses! @CCPetiteRobe
