El primer viaje de 2024 se presentó con mucho acento andaluz, y es que volvimos a pasar unos días en la preciosa Sevilla.
Fue un viaje que ya habíamos hecho en 2019 y que, por increíble que parezca, discurrió entre lluvia y bastante frío, por lo que teníamos muchas ganas de reencontrarnos con esta perla del Guadalquivir.
En esta ocasión nos tomamos el viaje de una forma mucho más relajada, pues como ya conocíamos todos los indispensables de la ciudad, nos centramos en volver a nuestros favoritos, disfrutar de la gastronomía, reencontrarnos con amigos y desvirtualizar a otros.
Además tuvimos una acompañante de excepción, pues la pequeña Abril se vino con nosotros a esta primera aventura del año. Me hizo muy feliz compartir con ella una ciudad tan bonita, además fue bastante sencillo viajar con ella, muchos restaurantes tienen terraza con calefactores y eso hace todo más sencillo.
En esta ocasión nos hospedamos en los apartamentos SevilleBNB, tienen varios alojamientos en toda la ciudad, todos ellos con una ubicación maravillosa, decorados con muchos gusto y con todas las comodidades imaginables. Estuvimos un total de tres noches, la primera de ellas la pasamos en uno de los estudios de Santa Bárbara Center Suites, uno de sus edificios más modernos, estupendamente ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, al lado de la Alameda de Hércules. Las siguientes dos noches estuvimos en los Cathedral Apartments, en un precioso apartamento exterior que se encuentra a menos de dos minutos a pie de la Giralda. Además este último cuenta con una azotea preciosa con piscina y vistas directas a la Giralda y el resto de la ciudad. Me lo imagino como un lugar idílico en verano, sin duda un alojamiento estupendo para disfrutar intensamente Sevilla.
Dentro de las zonas a las que quisimos volver estuvo mi absoluta favorita de la ciudad: Plaza España, da igual el tiempo y las veces que vaya a Sevilla, siempre volvería allí. El color y el arte de esa plaza viven en cada uno de sus rincones, me parece un lugar mágico.
También disfrutamos una puesta de sol con vistas a Triana, la Giralda y catedral, los jardines del Real Alcázar (no me impresionaron tanto como la primera vez, pero me siguen pareciendo un lugar precioso), el barrio de Santa Cruz y las preciosas vistas del Guadalquivir y la Torre del Oro desde la terraza del restaurante Río Grande.
Por lo que se refiere a nuestras visitas gastronómicas, probamos el famosísimo Piripi en una de las bodeguitas Antonio Romero, disfrutamos de los montaditos ibéricos en el Restaurante 5J y como nuevo descubrimiento nos quedamos con La Cayetana.
Y hasta aquí nuestra primera y liviana aventura de 2024, ¡una escapada de fin de semana perfecta para cualquier momento del año!

The first trip of 2024 was presented with a lot of Andalusian accent, and we spent a few days again in beautiful Seville.
It was a trip that we had already made in 2019 and, as incredible as it may seem, it took place between rain and quite cold, so we really wanted to meet again with this pearl of the Guadalquivir.
On this occasion we took the trip in a much more relaxed way, because as we already knew all the essentials of the city, we focused on returning to our favorites, enjoying the gastronomy, meeting friends and devirtualizing others.
We also had an exceptional companion, as little April came with us on this first adventure of the year. It made me very happy to share such a beautiful city with her, and it was also quite easy to travel with her, many restaurants have terraces with heaters and that makes everything easier.
On this occasion we stayed at the SevilleBNB apartments, they have several accommodations throughout the city, all of them with a wonderful location, tastefully decorated and with all the comforts imaginable. We stayed a total of three nights, the first of which was spent in one of the Santa Bárbara Center Suites studios, one of its most modern buildings, wonderfully located in the center of the city, next to the Alameda de Hércules. The next two nights we stayed at the Cathedral Apartments, in a beautiful exterior apartment located less than two minutes walk from the Giralda. In addition, the latter has a beautiful roof terrace with a pool and direct views of the Giralda and the rest of the city. I imagine it as an idyllic place in summer, without a doubt a great accommodation to enjoy Seville intensely.
Among the areas we wanted to return to was my absolute favorite in the city: Plaza España, no matter the time and how many times I go to Seville, I would always return there. The color and art of that square live in each of its corners, it seems like a magical place to me.
We also enjoyed a sunset with views of Triana, the Giralda and cathedral, the gardens of the Real Alcázar (they didn’t impress me as much as the first time, but they still seem like a beautiful place), the Santa Cruz neighborhood and the beautiful views of the Guadalquivir and the Torre del Oro from the terrace of the Río Grande restaurant.
Regarding our gastronomic visits, we tried the famous Piripi in one of the Antonio Romero wineries, we enjoyed the Iberian montaditos at the 5J Restaurant and as a new discovery we stayed with La Cayetana.
And that’s it for our first light adventure of 2024, a perfect weekend getaway for any time of the year!
